      @laetrille Some people can’t afford that the extra $100 to pay off and re borrow on the first due date. If I remember right, a $300 loan has payments of about $105-$110 each. In my state, you’re allowed 4 extensions. That’s $420-$440 in interest alone. Not to mention the original $300 you have to pay back at the end of the extension. In all you end up paying $720-$740 for a loan of $300.

      @thetbomb No one may be holding a gun to their head, but people do threaten them by kicking them out, shutting off utilities, suing them, repossessing things, ect. I HATE the mentality of “well it’s their own dumb fault for getting a loan.” or the whole “they fucked up their credit, so now they have to deal with it”. People make mistakes, and it’s usually in hindsight that you realize it. Then again, what about things like doctor bills that rack up easily if you’re sick?

      Eat less shop less to pay off the pay day loans. I know someone that pulled these loans and instead of not shopping for a month to pay them off she kept getting more loans.

      low interest rate. these guys made over 1.000.000 loans with a great customer base

      I work for one of these companies is Canada and yes, it is sleazy…but it’s the morons who come in there’s choice. Why don’t they have credit cards to buy these short term things they need? Cause they ruined their credit already…they brought this shit on themselves… these’s always been money to be made off stupidity. I feel dirty…but no one’s holding a gun to their head.

      If you use them respinsibly they can be helpful, they give you three extensions. A smart person who borrows 300 with a total of 350 interest will pay the loan off then reborrow 250, pay that then pay 250 and reborrow 200 until the debt is gone. It seems like alot of money in interest but time is money and you will have a long time to pay it off. Unfortunately most people are not smart enough to do this.

      I don’t know about everyone elses experiences but we got $300 from cashloancity com and had it paid back after one extension. My wife and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the site.
