   how many people would’ve noticed or gotten offended by the word had they not heard about the controversy surrounding it first? who cares. anyone who is seriously offended probably knows someone who is, in fact, retarded. and though it may seem insensitive to you, clearly she meant no harm. the public uses this word as slang and you need to effing relax.

    I have to say that I have just about every disorder under the sun and I make fun of my self. My own children have a.d.h.d and a.d.d not that I ever would make fun of them, and there is no but. She did not mean she was making fun of retarted people. Think of this logically. I have gay friends who say that is so gay. It is always the intent that matters.
