      Somebody mentioned philip green helps the uk economy. I assume that must be some kind of joke.
      He pays himself TWICE as much as his 45000 employees put together. They earn an average of £11000 and most of them rely on some kind of welfare state benefit to top up their pay.
      Almost everything in his store is manifactured abroad ,a great deal of it in sweatshops that pay their staff pennies.
      In short he’s a Parasite……….the country would be better off with immoral people like him.

      jendrizhendrix—-first of all just calm down …. calm down! nah it makes no different if its boy or girl does it, i don’t believe the police should react in such a pathetic way. There is no reason to act in such a violent way to someone shouting. If the girl was going to strike the man then maybe he could push in such a way in self defense but she was only shouting! its appalling behavior when the police are there to set an example. It’s only going to rile the protesters up.

      @Starman117 but how much has he ALREADY contributed to this countries economy – staff PAYE etc. How much in ground rent and council taxs etc. I know he could be paying shit loads more, but he has already contributed tons to this countries economy, much more than me and you. If you were a businessman and new of a LEGAL loophole, im sure it would be a different story. Loby the gov, storming shops isnt going to do anything.

      If morons like this keep protesting, then we’ll eventually have our right to protest taken away because its too risky to allow people to act like complete twats and risk the safety of others.

      There were mothers and kids in that shop and the protestors showed complete disregard for their safety. A protest is standing in a spot with a statement to make. It isn’t storming a shop terrorising innocent shoppers and staff inside.

      hmmm, so you’re in denial. Police officers are uni graduates in the same sense that people that resit their GCSEs are College graduates. I do not believe that most of the older ones are ex armed forces.

      It matters not whether it ‘s the MET or not. If the MET is racist, the police in general are racist. They are the yardstick.

      Wake up, the police have last all respect of large sections of the population. I’m quite looking forward to seeing their numbers slashed.

You said they were were not brave and could not work for the armed forces, I say most of the older ones are, you then turn that in to a negative. you say most of them have never read a book, I prove to you all of the recruits in the last 6/7 years ARE Uni graduates, you turn that in to a negative. You say they are ALL racist because someone in the Met says so, I say its NOT the met.

      he could have just asked her to settle down, by grabbing her and restraining her like that it just fuelled the situation. The policemen are supposed to be unbiased. Their job is to keep protestors safe, as well as making sure they dont break the law.

      Oh dear, oh dear, you don’t seem to realise that if the Met is racist, then the police are racists. You can’t just draw a dividing line between police forces. The Met are supposed to be the yardstick for all others.

      If you want to call an NVQ in physiology and criminal law an education then that’s up to you. As for most of the older ones coming from the armed forces, well I don’t really believe that as a statement of fact but that could explain why they’re thick as fook.

      @fendertele100 @fendertele100 it’s a foundation degree at the end and it involves physiology and criminal law. You can turn your nose up at a foundation degree if you want, but it goes against your theory that all cops are uneducated (as the younger ones are mostly all Uni graduates) and scared of the armed forces? (most of the older ones are ex forces). You also fail to see that this is a Sussex police area protest, not the Met Police. Fail.
