      Dudley was based on Nelson Eddy in Rose Marie. Nell was based on Jeanette Macdonald.

      This is original; it is listed as episode #8 (“Foreclosing Mortgages”) in the episode listing on Wikipedia. Add to that the pre-1967 Canadian flag and Dudley’s horse winning the Mortgage…classic Jay Ward stuff.

      I think its 95% or better orginal- seems I remember it as a child. But the first discussion between Dudly and the Inspector? Dudlys voice doesn’t quite match his lips and his face is pixelated from a bad job of photoshop- I think, I could be wrong

      Come to think about it, the Canadian flag that came out of the bomb at 3:03 was right for the early 60s. Canada didn’t adopt the Maple Leaf flag until 1967. I Do beleve this is a genuine Dudley Do-Right!
